Bug-squashing Shader-power-punch!

Apr 11, 2017
We're overjoyed to announce today's release of version 1.3.0 of TouchViZ!
A new chapter in our beloved VJ-tools' life and one that comes with a whole lot of brand-spanking-new shader power! But first things first...

A little while ago we also released version 1.2.4. One in a series of updates that were trying to fix a flaw that was "bugging" a lot of people for some time, and sadly, extremely hard for us to reproduce.

We are ecstatic to report that this was finally THE ONE, and stability should finally be back to normal!

Thanks to super-power-user Xavier Vasquez for helping us find and squash this one.

But now for the real "meat" of this update:

We've added a whole new page to the FX section, featuring 16 brand-new, generative effect-shaders!

Most of these were authored and kindly shared by the inimitable graphics-programming genius Keijiro Takahashi, and thanks to him you can now spice up your visual sets with some first-class real-time generated patterns and overlays!

Let us know what you think, and please come post your work with TouchViZ on our Facebook page - we'd love to share some of the joy!
