hi ! Thanks for the great work on ToucOSC 1.3.1.

I have just today downloaded the editor, do you have instructions somewhere? I launch it and it comes up but has no menu at all (OSX 10.5.7) not sure what I am meant to do… so I launch it on the iPhone and try by touching on Add Layout ( to see if that fires it up?) it says ‘Searching…’. I have no firewalls, file sharing is enabled and communication with SuperCollider is fine.

I know this has been raised earlier in the thread but nobody actually explains how they got it to work…

Hey guys i have on very important question…

Im using Pure Data as an intermediary between Ableton Live and the Touch OSC interface. But after creating a custom layout with TouchOSC editor, how do i go on about creating a Pure Data patch to use with my custom layout??? I know the editor is great, but without that Pure Data patch…i cant use any custom layouts ( i hope this makes sense ) Any help would be gladly appreciated. Cheers !

I would have posted this on the editor page but comments were off.
Just an idea, please don’t make led’s only circular. For one of my interfaces I need an led to be as wide as the screen, but only 30 tall. You could program this into xml in the old version, but you changed that. So could you just please either come up with some other object type or bring back this functionality!

This is fantastic, thank you for all your hard work!

Just a tip to other users, you can’t use a space when entering a page name in the editor, at least when using it along with OSCulator.

Use a name like “Macros” instead of “Macro Knobs”, otherwise the events will not be recognized by OSCulator when you’re trying to map controls.

Hopefully that makes sense. I was confused for a while as to why things weren’t working like I thought they should be.

Juste done a new layout to control Logic8, and tested it on stage yesterday, when in a gig with friends. Let me tell you : a lot of jaw-dropping ;-)
Guess what will be the first app they’ll install on their newly bought iPhone ?

Anyway, thank you a million for this, can’t live/play without it.

so stoked on this. works great. my friend had template-sync issues with timing out after selecting the correct computer….will tell him to try newest touchosc editor.
