Layout management with iTunes

With iTunes 9.1 or greater and devices running iOS 4.0 or greater TouchOSC layouts can also be managed using the iTunes File Sharing mechanism. Using this method TouchOSC layouts can be transferred to, copied back from, and also be deleted from the device via the USB cable connection.

Please find an up-to-date guide on how to use iTunes File Sharing from Apple at
https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201301

Connect your device to the computer using the USB cable and open iTunes.

Select your device from the list to the left under Devices and navigate to the Apps management screen. Below the application management section on this page you will find the File Sharing section with a list of apps to the left that support the File Sharing mechanism. Find TouchOSC in this list and select it. To the right, below TouchOSC Documents, you'll see a list of all the TouchOSC layouts on the device.

To transfer one or multiple layouts to the device, click on the Add button below the list of layouts and find the layout files that you want to add to the device on your computer.

To transfer one or multiple layouts from the device to your computer, select the layouts you want to copy in the list of layouts and click on Save to... below the list.

To remove one or multiple layouts from the device, select the layouts you want to remove and either press the Delete key on your keyboard or perform the cmd + Backspace key combination.

Please not that all these operations are instantaneous and no additional sync is required. The device will temporarily lock while performing the operation and automatically unlock when the operation is completed. Also, TouchOSC does not need to be running or in the foreground to perform any of these operations.
