TouchOSC Mk1 Manual

Layout loading and removing

This is the manual for the Mk1 version of TouchOSC. You can find the manual for the current version here.

This is TouchOSC's main layout screen. Here all layouts stored on your device are listed, and can be loaded or removed from the device. TouchOSC layouts can be fully customized, as we'll discuss in the Editing Layouts section.

The currently active layout is indicated at the end of the row. Selecting any of the available layouts will load that layout file and return the application to the main configuration screen.

Removing layouts

Warning: Removing a layout from the device is permanent and not undo-able.

Layout files can be removed from the device in two ways.

By swiping horizontally over the row of the layout you want to remove a red Delete button will appear at the end of the row and clicking this button will remove the layout file from the device. Clicking anywhere else on the screen will cancel this action.

Alternatively, clicking on the Edit button at the top right of the screen will put the whole list of layouts into edit mode and reveal round delete icons at the start of each row. Clicking on any of these icons will reveal a red Delete button for that row and clicking this button will remove the layout file from the device. Clicking anywhere else on the screen will cancel this action.

When you're finished removing layouts from the device, click on the blue Done button at the top right of the screen and the list of layouts will exit the edit mode.
